Study on Impurity Structure in Paraffin Oil by Mid infrared Spectroscopy
The structure of paraffin oil and its impurities was studied using mid infrared(MIR)spectroscopy technology.The experiment found that the infrared absorption mode of paraffin oil structure mainly includes:CH3 group asymmetric stretching vibration mode(νasCH3-paraffin oil),CH3 group symmetric stretching vibration mode(νsCH3-paraffin oil),CH2 group asymmetric stretching vibration mode(νasCH2-paraffin oil),CH2 group symmetric stretching vibration mode((νsCH2-paraffin oil),CH2 group bending vibration mode(δCH2-paraffin oil),CH3 groups asymmetric bending vibration mode(δsCH3-paraffin oil),CH3 groups symmetric bending vibration mode(δsCH3-paraffin oil)and CH2 group in-plane rocking vibration mode(ρCH2-paraffin oil).The infrared absorption mode of impurity structure in paraffin oil mainly includes water molecule stretching vibration mode(νH2O-impurity-water),aryl group C-H stretching vibration mode(νC-H-impurity-aryl group),carbonyl group C=O stretching vibration mode(νC=O-impurity-carbonyl group),water molecule bending vibration mode(δH2O-impurity-water),aryl group C=C stretching vibration mode(νC=C-impurity-aryl group),the first characteristic infrared absorption band of amide group(νamideⅠ-impurity-amide)and the second characteristic infrared absorption band of amide group(νamideⅡ-impurity-amide).The impurity structures of paraffin oil mainly include aryl group chemical compound,carbonyl group chemical compound,amide group chemical compound and water.The MIR spectroscopy has preliminarily conducted qualitative research on the structure of paraffin oil and its impurities,which has important application research value.
