Analysis method for the determination of sulfides in ammonia water
According to the determination principle of Iodometric Method, this paper analyzes the core that affects the accuracy of the determination of sulfides in ammonia water:There was no loss of sulfides in the analysis process, and makes clear the three key points of analysis:the sulfides in the sample is completely converted to zinc sulfide, zinc sulfide is completely converted to hydrogen sulfide, and the hydrogen sulfide can react with sufficient iodine immediately.Through the experiment,it is found that the key to ensure the complete conversion of sulfides into hydrogen sulfide is the addition of zinc acetate, which can be simplified by boiling method to avoid sulfides loss, and the correct adding sequence, the addition of iodine solution and acetic acid solution are the key to ensure the complete reaction of hydrogen sulfide.Through the optimization of each step, the determination method of sulfur in ammonia was finally established.
