Application of pulsed electro-desalting in high calcium crude oilpretreatment
The pretreatment of Xinjiang high calcium crude oil with calcium ion content up to 1800 μg/g by pulsed electric desalt-ing was studied by means of pulse electric field intensity,duty ratio,pulse frequency,temperature and residence time,and made comparisontrial with conventional electrodesalting technology.The results showed that the salt content,water content and calcium content of purified oil after 3 stages of pulsed electro desalting can reach the pretreatment effect of 4 stages of conventional electric desalting.The pulsed electro-desalting technology had a good effect on the pretreatment of high calcium crude oil.
