Industrial Application of Fully Sulfurized Catalyst in Gasoline Hydrogenation Unit
This paper introduces the application of GARDES-Ⅱ external complete vulcanization series catalysts jointly developed by China Petroleum and Petrochemical Research Institute,China University of Petroleum and Fuzhou University in the 110×104 t/a catalytic cracking gasoline refining unit of Sichuan Petrochemical Company to produce vehicle gasoline blending products that meet the national Ⅵ gasoline standard(sulfur≤10 mg/kg,olefins≤18% ).The unit will run continuously for six years without any catalyst treatment from the first start of production in 2016 to 2022.GARDES-Ⅱ off-site vulcanization catalyst is selected for this commencement. The commencement time is short, and the actual commencement time is only 20 hours. The process is stable and controlled;Only 3 hours after switching to fresh raw materials, qualified products will be produced,in which the total sulfur content is only 1.8 mg/kg.The initial calibration data showed that the average sulfur content in the mixed product was 3.57 mg/kg,and the mercaptan sulfur was only 2.67 mg/kg.After passing the doctor's experiment, the olefin content was reduced by 3% ,and the RON loss of the research method was 0.9 units, the gasoline yield could reach 99.63% ,and the energy consumption of the unit was 17.38 kgEo/t.It can be seen that GARDES-Ⅱtechnology fully meets the requirements of Ⅵ(B)and even higher standard gasoline in the production country of PetroChina Sichuan Petrochemical Company.
