Influencing factors of melt index of polypropylene
The molecular weight of polypropylene depends on the degree of polymerization of polypropylene,which include isotactic polypropylene,atactic polypropylene and syntactic polypropylene because of the different arrangement of methyl groups to form different structures.Melt mass flow rate is a rheological index of plastic processing deformation,also known as melt index.The melt mass flow rate of polypropylene must be precision process control to control it within the qualified range to ensure the performance of plastic products,so as to ensure the quality of products.This paper discussed the influences of hydrogen,raw material and catalyst on the melt properties of polypropylene and got the result that the amount of hydrogen and the properties of catalyst were the main factors that determined the melt index of polypropylene.
