Application of pulsed eddy current scanning technology in chemical industry
In view of the particularity of the production process and chemical materials,and the characteristics of high temperature,high pressure,inflammable and explosive,corrosiveness,and extreme toxicity of fluorine chemical enterprises,it is very important to find a detection method that adapts to the environment strongly for the safety and management of pressure pipelines and equipment in daily production or equipment maintenance.According to the actual application onsite,it was found that,compared with the traditional ultrasonic detection technology,the pulsed eddy current accurate scanning technology had a strong advantage in measuring the wall thickness of pressure pipes and equipment,and can carry out 100%accurate scanning under different pipe diameters,different materials,various working conditions and complex high temperature environments,which played a significant role in the removal of corrosion hazards and predictive maintenance.
