Experimental study on power ultrasonic coupling treatment of oil-bearing sludge in refinery
With the rapid development of petroleum refining industry, the treatment of oil bearing sludge has become an important environmental problem. This study was to use cavitation and mechanical effectsof power ultrasonic wave to treat the oil sludge produced by an oil refinery, completely separatedthe crude oil, sewage and sludge in oil-bearing slurry to achieve the purpose of cost reduction and efficiency increase.Through the experimental application of the refinery, the basic requirements of oil content≤5%,water content ≤40%in sludge and water content ≤10%in crude oil were realized, however, the high oil content in sewage required to be retreated. The key step of oil-bearing sludge treatment was solid-liquid phase separation, and the liquid-liquid phase separation effect determined the quality of crude oil and sewage after coupling treatment. It analyzed the mechanism of power ultrasonic on solid-liquid separation and liquid-liquid separation and the reasons for the unsatisfactory liquid-liquid separation, and discussed the advantages and prospects of power ultrasonic application in oil-bearing sludge treatment.
