In the modern chemical industry,due to the continuous expansion of catalytic reforming,steam cracking production of ethylene and other devices,resulting in a huge production of heavy aromatics,whose components are complex and difficult to separate,and the utilization rate is extremely low,the lightening technology of heavy aromatics is especially critical in the future development.This paper demonstrates the importance of lightening technology based on zeolite catalyst modification by describing three types of reactions in the research of heavy aromatics lightening technology at home and abroad.It also analyzes the challenges and future prospects in the industrial application of heavy aromatics lightening,and provides research basis for the green development of enterprises.
