Development and application of high melting point thin-walled injection molded polypropylene LHM65
Research was conducted on the production technology of high melt index polypropylene.On a Unipol gas-phase process polypropylene production plant with a capacity of 20×104 t/a,LHM65,a thin-walled injection molded polypropylene with excellent properties,was successfully produced using hydrogen blending and cracking method.The melt flow rate remained stable at 60.0～80.0 g/(10 min),the bending modulus reached 1630-1650MPa,the yellow index was-6.5 to-6.3,and the tensile yield stress was 34.5-35.0 MPa.The application of LHM65 in the production of disposable food packaging containers has shown good fluidity,extensibility,flexibility,rigidity,and molding effect,and the products meet the requirements of food packaging.
