The physiological response of Hordeum brevisubulatum to NaCl stress in Zhalong Wetland
In order to study the response of Hordeum brevisubulatum to NaCl stress, the physiological and biochemical indexes of Hordeumbrevisubulatum seedlingleavesunder the NaCl stress of different concentrations (1% [T1], 2% [T2], 3% [T3], 4% [T4], 5% [T5]) were determined by using indoor potted seedling cultivation and physicochemical analysis, respectively. The results showed that with the increase of NaCl concentration, the relative conductivity and the contents of malondialdehyde, chlorophyll and Na+showed a trend of increase, and the maximum values in T5 group were 98. 4%, 47. 55 μmol/L, 5. 10 mg/g and 66. 84 mg/g, respectively. The content of soluble protein and the activity of peroxidase POD increased first and then decreased, and the maximum values in T2 group were 76. 24 μg/g and 16 800 U/ (g·min), respectively. The change trend of K+was not obvious and maintainedthe same level. The ratio of Na+/K+increased and the maximum value appeared in T5 group. The results indicated that Hordeum brevisubulatum had high tolerance to NaCl and could adapt to salt stress by various metabolic methods.
