壳寡糖(chitooligosaccharide,COS)是由壳聚糖水解而成的低分子量多糖,因其优良的生物相容性、低毒性和广泛的应用前景而受到广泛关注。壳寡糖具有抗氧化、抗菌、免疫调节、促进细胞增殖及神经保护等生物功能。这些功能与其结构特征、分子量及取代基的种类密切相关。作为一种天然生物高分子,壳寡糖在食品、农业、医学和化妆品等领域的应用正在不断扩展,显示出良好的市场潜力。文章综述了壳寡糖的生物功能及其作用机制,探讨了其在各个领域中的应用前景及在动物生产和改善动物肠道微生态环境方面的作用,以及在提高机体抗氧化、免疫能力等方面的进展,以期为其在无抗养殖模式下的合理应用提供理论支持。
Research progress on the biological function of chitooligosaccharides and its mechanism of action
Chitooligosaccharides(COS)is a low molecular weight polysaccharide hydrolyzed from chitosan;it has attracted wide attention because of its excellent biocompatibility,low toxicity and wide application prospects.Chitooligosaccharides has biological functions such as antioxidation,antibacterial resistence,immunomodulation,promoting cell proliferation and neuroprotection.These functions are closely related to their structural characteristics,molecular weight,and substitutive species.As a natural biopolymer,the application of chitooligosaccharides in food,agriculture,medicine and cosmetics was constantly expanding,showing good market potential.In this paper,the biological functions and mechanisms of chitooligosaccharides were reviewed,and the application prospects of chitooligosaccharides in various fields were discussed,as well as its role in animal production and improvement of animal intestinal microecological environment,and the progress in improving the body's antioxidant and immune capacity,in order to provide theoretical support for its rational application in the antibiotic-free breeding mode.
