Objective:To explore the nursing application effect of the integrated model of knowledge, belief, and action combined with motivational intervention in patients with severe respiratory failure.Method:101 patients with severe respiratory failure admitted to our hospital from October 2021 to October 2022 were randomly divided into a control group with routine care and an observation group with integrated knowledge, belief, and practice combined with motivational nursing intervention. The nursing effects of the two groups were compared.Result:After intervention, the arterial oxygen partial pressure(PaO2)and carbon dioxide partial pressure(PaCO2)of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05);After intervention, the observation group had higher scores of knowledge, belief, and behavior(P<0.05).After intervention, the self-care scores of the observation group were higher(P<0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of the integrated knowledge, belief, and behavior model combined with incentive intervention for patients with severe respiratory failure has a definite effect, which helps to improve the blood gas related indicators of patients, enhance their knowledge, belief, and behavior levels and self-care abilities, and is worthy of clinical adoption.
