Objective:To explore the value and role of palliative treatment for lung cancer disease in improving patients'quality of life and relieving pain. Methods:The starting and end time of this study was April 2020——April 2023.During the study period,43 lung cancer patients in our hospital were selected for randomization and divided into two groups, namely, the control group receiving conventional treatment(21 cases)and the observation group receiving palliative treatment(22 cases).Based on different treatment methods, the psychological status, quality of life, nutritional status, fatigue and pain level of the two groups were compared. Results:The nutritional status of the treated observation group was high compared with the control group,P<0.05.The NRS assessed the extent of pain for 2 and 4 weeks of treatment, with significant differences in pain relief rates between the observed and control groups(P<0.05).The SAS and SDS scores showed that the control group had significantly higher scores, and the SCL 90 score was also higher than the observed group,P<0.05.In terms of fatigue comparison, the observation group scored lower than the control group,P<0.05.In the analysis of patients, the two groups were inconsistent(P<0.05).Conclusion:Studies have confirmed that the use of palliative care reduces the pain of lung cancer patients, improves the disease and the quality of life of the patients, improves the fatigue degree and malnutrition of the patients, alleviates the bad mood of anxiety and depression, and makes the patients in a good physical and mental state. It has a high application value in the treatment of lung cancer patients and is worthy of clinical promotion.
