Objective:To explore the effect of ear point burying bean intervention on pain in patients with ureteral calculi(UC).Method:A total of 82 UC patients who underwent surgery in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected and randomly divided into an intervention group(n=41)and a control group(n=41)using a random number table method. The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the intervention group received ear implantation. The postoperative pain level, sleep quality, and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Result:After intervention, the visual analogue scale(VAS)scores of the two groups decreased(P<0.05),and the intervention group was lower than the control group(P<0.05);After intervention, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores of the two groups decreased(P<0.05),and the intervention group was lower than the control group(P<0.05);After intervention, the scores of the World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale(WHO QOL BREF)were improved in both groups(P<0.05),and the intervention group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Patients undergoing UC surgery who receive ear point implantation can reduce postoperative pain, improve sleep quality, and improve quality of life.
