Objective:To observe and analyze the impact of midwifery care on the delivery outcomes of elderly postpartum women.Method:134 elderly postpartum women who gave birth in our hospital from June 2018 to May 2020 were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method. The control group and the observation group were included in 67 postpartum women, and conventional and personalized midwifery care models were applied. The delivery methods, vaginal delivery time, maternal and infant complications, and satisfaction with midwifery care were compared between the two groups.Result:Compared with the control group, the observation group had a higher natural delivery rate(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in cesarean section rate and vaginal delivery rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Compared with the two groups, the observation group had shorter time for the first, second, and total stages of labor(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in time for the third stage of labor between the two groups(P>0.05).Comparing the total incidence of maternal and infant complications between the two groups,it can be seen that the observation group has a significantly lower total incidence of complications, and there is a significant difference in the total incidence of maternal and infant complications between the two groups(P<0.05).The observation group showed higher satisfaction with midwifery care(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of personalized midwifery care for elderly mothers can improve their delivery outcomes, increase the natural vaginal delivery rate, reduce maternal and infant complications, help maintain maternal and infant safety and health, and significantly increase the satisfaction of mothers with midwifery care.
