Objective:To analyze the clinical effect of pricking collaterals and bloodletting combined with traditional Chinese medicine foot bath in the treatment of acute fever.Method:80 patients with acute fever admitted to our hospital from July 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a conventional group(40 cases, conventional treatment)and an observation group(40 cases, acupuncture and bloodletting combined with traditional Chinese medicine foot bath treatment). The treatment efficacy, body temperature values at different time periods after treatment, and inflammatory indicators before and after treatment were compared and analyzed between the two groups.Result:(1)The treatment effectiveness rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the conventional group(P<0.05);(2)There was no statistically significant difference in the body temperature values between the two groups of patients at 0.5 hours after treatment(P>0.05),while the body temperature values of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the conventional group at 2 and 12 hours after treatment(P<0.05);(3)There was no significant difference in the inflammatory indicators between the two groups of patients before treatment(P>0.05),but the inflammatory indicators in the observation group after treatment were significantly lower than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of pricking blood and traditional Chinese medicine foot bath can achieve ideal therapeutic effects in the treatment of acute fever.
