Objective:To study the impact of the PDCA cycle method on the quality management scores and satisfaction of traditional Chinese medicine medical records in hospitals.Method:A total of 82 outpatient TCM medical records of a hospital from January 2019 to December 2022 were selected for study.According to different management methods of medical records,medical records were divided into control group and observation group,with 41 cases in each group.The control group was given traditional medical record management,while the observation group was given PDCA circular medical record management.The scores of medical record quality management,medical record responsibility score,medical record management errors and satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The first page filling,timely supply,overdue filing,sorting of medical records,and borrowing registration scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The observation group's problem-solving ability,communication and coordination ability,team spirit,and positivity scores were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of medical record management errors in the observation group(4.87%)was significantly lower than that in the control group(19.51%,P<0.05).The satisfaction of the observation group(95.12%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(75.61%,P<0.05).Conclusion:The PDCA circulation method can improve the quality management score of traditional Chinese medicine medical records in hospitals,and patients'satisfaction is high,which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
