Objective:To explore the clinical treatment effects of different surgical methods on patients with inguinal hernia.Method:100 patients with inguinal hernia admitted to the General Surgery Department of Quanzhou Southeast Hospital(March 2017 to March 2022)were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method.50 patients in the control group underwent tension-free hernia repair surgery, while 50 patients in the observation group underwent Laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal hernia repair(TAPP).Observe surgical indicators, pain and sleep quality scores, complications, and recurrence rates.Result:The observation group had(51.28±5.25)minutes of surgery,(2.19±2.28)ml of intraoperative bleeding,(20.14±2.38)hours of ambulation time,and(4.34±1.13)days of hospitalization, which were better than the control group(t=7.442,P=0.000).The comparison of pain and sleep quality scores before treatment(P>0.05)showed that the observation group had lower pain and sleep quality scores after treatment(P<0.05).The observation group had lower complications and no recurrence, and the recurrence rate was lower compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:TAPP is effective in treating patients with inguinal hernia.
