Objective::Exploring the efficacy of laparoscopic appendectomy for acute perforated appendicitis.Method:One hundred and twenty-eight patients with acute perforated appendicitis admitted to Haidu Hospital of Nan'an City from July 2020 to July 2023 were selected for prospective study. They were divided into a study group(n=64 cases)and a control group(n=64 cases)according to the randomized numerical table method, and the control group was treated with conventional open appendectomy, while the study group was treated with laparoscopic appendectomy, comparing the two groups in terms of recovery indexes, pain level(visualanaloguescale,VAS score),indexes of oxidative stress in the postoperative period, serum C-reactive protein,procalcitonin,interleukin-6 and differences in the occurrence of complications.Result:All postoperative recovery indicators took less time in the study group compared to the control group(P<0.05).VAS scores were lower at different postoperative time points(3d postoperative,5d postoperative)in both groups compared with preoperative(P<0.05),and VAS was lower at different postoperative time points in the study group compared with the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the preoperative period, the levels of MDA,C-reactive protein, procalcitonin and interleukin-6 were higher and SOD was lower in both groups at 1d postoperatively(P<0.05);and the levels of MDA,SOD,C-reactive protein, procalcitonin and interleukin-6 were better in the study group at 1d postoperatively compared with the control group(P<0.05).The total complication rate was lower in the study group(4.69%)than in the control group(17.19%)(x2=5.133,P<0.05).Conclusion:Acute perforated appendicitis can be treated with laparoscopic appendectomy to effectively relieve the pain level, reduce postoperative oxidative stress and inflammatory response, reduce the risk of postoperative complications, and promote postoperative recovery.
