Development and psychometric properties of an evaluation scale of curriculum ideo-logical and political competence of medical professional course teachers
Objective To develop a scale for evaluating the curriculum ideological and political competence of teachers of medical pro-fessional courses and test its reliability and validity,so as to provide a reference for accurately and objectively evaluating the curri-culum ideological and political competence of teachers of medical professional courses.Methods An item pool was initially developed by reviewing the literature and guiding documents,and the Delphi method was used to determine the scale entries.A number of 258 teachers of medical professional courses were surveyed by using the developed scale to test its reliability and validity.Results The developed scale for evaluating the curriculum ideological and political competence of medical professional course teachers included 4 dimensions with a total of 24 items.The Cronbach's α coefficient was 0.929,the folded half reliability coefficient was 0.915,and the retest reliability was 0.843;the cumulative variance contribution rate of exploratory factor analysis of the four dimensions was 85.250%,and the content validity index was 0.923.Conclusion The developed scale is reliable and valid for evaluating curriculum i-deological and political competence of medical professional course teachers.
