Effects of behavior change model combined with case management on prostate cancer patients undergo-ing endocrine therapy
Objective To observe the effects,of behavior change model combined with case management on prostate cancer undergoing patients endocrine therapy.Methods A total of 90 patients with prostate cancer undergoing endocrine therapy admitted to Jinhua Municipal Central Hospital from May 2020 to May 2021 were divided into observation group and control group using the random number table method,with 45 cases in each group.The control group received conventional treatment and intervention,while the observation group was intervened by behavior change model combined with case man-agement.The quality of life and satisfaction of patients in the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the urinary incontinence,urinary tract stimulation,sexual function scores and total scores of Abbreviated Version of the Ex-panded Prostate Cancer Index Composite Instrument in the two groups were better than those before intervention,and the effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group,with statistically significant differences(F=7.148~77.199,P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of patients in the observation group was 100%,which was higher than the control group(89%),with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Intervention by behavior change model com-bined with case management can improve the quality of life and satisfaction of prostate cancer patients undergoing endocrine therapy.
