Anonymous Bath Authentication and Session-Key Exchange-based Security Protocol
Since vehicle to vehicle(V2V)and vehicle to Road Side Units(V2R)are performed in a wireless manner,Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks(VANETs)are vulnerable to various kinds of security at-tacks.Therefore,Anonymous Batch Authentication and session-key Exchange-based Security(ABKS)Protocol are proposed. In ABKS protocol,an anonymous mutual authentication strategy is utilized for the improvement of the safety of V2V communications. Moreover,a batch authentication strategy is utilized in ABKS Protocol to reduce the authentication overhead of the roadside facilities. In addition, integrity of the communicating messages is preserved in ABKS protocol to evade message modification during transmis-sion.The performance analysis indicates that the proposed ABKS protocol can defend potential security at-tacks.The ABKS protocol can reduce the complexity of the algorithm compared with the similar protocol.
