Combat Capability Cross-Domain Description Meta-modeling Method based on MBSE
A meta-modeling method based on model-based system engineering(MBSE)is pro-posed to overcome the issues of semantic ambiguity, inconvenient communication and others in the combat capability cross-domain description. The combat capability meta-model(CM2)is abstracted and the formal definition is given. The combat capability description language(CCL)is defined by extending the CM2 from capability, combat and information perspective. The CCL modeling tool is developed based on UML Profile technology. The CCL modeling method is pro-posed drawing on the idea of object-oriented analysis method. The proposed method is validated by regarding the'distributed defense'concept of the U.S.Army as an example. The results show that the proposed method is easily comprehensible, strongly reliable and extensible, and can effec-tively eliminates the semantic ambiguity and meet the multi-prespective cross-domain description of combat capability requirements.
