Review on the Construction and Military Applications of a Finite Element Model of the Human Chest
In order to promote the research on the construction and simulation application of the finite element model of the human chest,the structure of the finite element model of the human chest is analyzed in detail in combination with the actual scenarios,three different scenarios are focused on,namely,explosion,blunt ballistic impact,high-speed ballistic impact.Due to the differences in the physi-ological structure of human chest tissues,different types of tissues will experience different degrees of damage when subjected to ballistic impact and collision.Therefore,a comprehensive analysis of the finite element model of the human chest in different scenarios is carried out,their advantages and disadvan-tages are clarified,and some suggestions are presented to optimize these models to improve their biofidel-ity and accuracy.By reducing the degree of chest tissue damage in accidents,it meets the demand for human chest impact research in related fields such as man-portable protection and others.
