Research on the Interception Arc of Cruise Missile by Surface-to-air Missile Weapon Systems Based on Geographic Information
In modern warfare, cruise missiles are widely used due to their strong penetration ability, high hit accuracy and low military costs and other advantages. But,the surface-to-air missile weapon sys-tems are greatly affected by the terrain while resisting the cruise missiles launched at low altitudes. When selecting deployment positions, specialized equipment is needed for manual measurement, which is time-consuming and has low accuracy. To this end,a digital geographic information based method for analyzing the interception arc of cruise missiles by surface-to-air missiles is established, and practical examples are used for analysis and verification, achieving better results. This has certain reference significance for the deployment of surface-to-air missile positions and the analysis of resistance effectiveness.
