Numerical analysis of mechanical performance of prestressed RC double-column foundation with herringbone frame
A substation herringbone frame prestressed fabricated reinforced concrete(RC)double column foundation(hereinafter referred to as fabricated foundation)is proposed. The fabricated foundation has the characteristics of high construction efficiency, good mechanical performance, energy saving and emission reduc-tion.In order to fully understand the mechanical properties of the prefabricated foundation, the mechanical properties and failure modes of the prefabricated foundation under actual load and full load were analyzed by u-sing the numerical analysis method considering material nonlinearity and the interaction between basics and foundation, and compared with the cast-in-place foundation under the same conditions. The results reveal that the bearing capacity and stress state of the prefabricated foundation under the actual load meet the require-ments of the code.Under the whole process loading, the prefabricated foundation has good mechanical perform-ance and coordinated deformation ability, and both types of foundations have large safety reserves.Based on the soil weight method and R.Ganesh theory,a calculation method for the bearing capacity of the prefabricated foundation is proposed. The calculated values are in good agreement with the numerical analysis results.
