Optimization strategy for exterior window design of office buildings based on energy-saving potential——A case study of main urban areas of Zhengzhou City
By analyzing the relationship between building design and energy conservation, the optimization strategy for exterior window design of office buildings based on energy-saving potential is proposed.Based on the Grasshopper parametric platform,a typical model was constructed by taking the multi-storey office building in the main urban areas of Zhengzhou City as an example, and energy consumption simulation and quantitative analysis were carried out on eleven design parameters affecting the energy consumption of the building,inclu-ding three levels of exterior window design scale parameters, exterior window design performance parameters, and shading design parameters. The results show that, among the three levels, the total energy consumption per unit area of the exterior window design scale parameters has the greatest energy-saving potential;among the 11 design parameters, the total energy consumption per unit area of the window wall and the energy consumption per cooling unit have the greatest energy-saving potential, and the energy consumption per unit area of the glass heat transfer coefficient has the greatest energy-saving potential. Therefore, when designing the exterior windows of office buildings in the main urban areas of Zhengzhou,it is recommended to give priority to the window wall ratio, followed by the window centerline and glass material.
