Regional differences and spatiotemporal pattern evolution of county economic development in Henan Province
County economy is the intersection of urban economy and rural economy,and it is also an important component of China's national economy.By using methods such as weighted coefficient of variation and spatial autocorrelation analysis,this paper explores the spatiotemporal pattern evolution of county economic develop-ment in Henan Province from 2009 to 2021.The results show that during this period,the level of county eco-nomic development in Henan Province has continuously improved,but the growth rate has declined significant-ly,and the development gap of county economy has been continuously widening,indicating that regional devel-opment is still not coordinated.The county economic development in Henan Province presents a hierarchical difference from northwest to southeast,with strong radiation effects of large and medium-sized cities and signifi-cant economic collapse issues in southern and southeastern Henan.The overall performance of county economic development in Henan Province shows a strong spatial autocorrelation,with areas with similar economic devel-opment aggregating in space.High-high agglomeration areas(HH)are mainly concentrated in the county areas of the northwest region with Zhengzhou and Jiaozuo as the core,while low-low agglomeration areas(LL)are mostly located in the subordinate county areas of Zhoukou and Zhumadian,among others.
