Fire risk factors analysis and countermeasures in urban areas——A case study of Zhengzhou City
The urban area is the social,economic,and cultural center of the region.If a serious fire accident oc-curs in urban area,the loss caused is incalculable.Taking Zhengzhou City as an example and analyzing fire in-cident statistics from 2020 to 2022,this study examines the characteristics of urban fires,the risk factors in-volved,and vulnerabilities.A further five-dimensional strategy is proposed for managing urban fire risks,provi-ding empirical evidence and theoretical support for reducing the incidence of urban fires and improving cities'ability to respond to fire risks.
