Hierarchical generation method for urban road network
To quickly and accurately obtain information about the urban road network,a method for generating a hierarchical urban road network based on vehicle trajectory data that is easy to obtain,low in cost,and fast in updates is proposed.This method first considers the trajectory density information of road segments to identify,merge,and optimize road segments of different levels.Then,the turning relationships between intersection-relat-ed road segments are identified based on the traffic conditions between road segments,thereby completing the generation of the urban road network.The experiment verifies the method using the trajectory data of campus buses in Chicago and taxi trajectories in Hankou.The results show that the overall evaluation factor F1 scores of the road networks for both datasets reach 75.06%and 75.64%,respectively,and the accuracy of turning rela-tionship identification can reach 100%.
