Experimental study on strength characteristics of cement solidified silt contaminated by Zn2+
Taking the artificially prepared silty zinc ion(Zn2+)contaminated soil as the research object, the unconfined compressive strength of cement-solidified contaminated soil with different ion concentration, cement content and curing temperature was analyzed by laboratory test and theoretical analysis, and an empirical model for predicting the strength change of solidified soil was put forward. The results show that Zn2+pollution will lead to the deterioration of soil strength. When Zn2+concentration is less than 0.2%,the unconfined compres-sive strength of soil decreases significantly, while when Zn2+concentration is greater than 0.2%,the uncon-fined compressive strength of soil does not decrease significantly.Cement solidification of zinc ion contaminated soil can effectively improve the strength of soil, and the strength growth law of solidified soil accords with expo-nential function model.Curing temperature plays a separate role in the strength growth law of solidified soil, and ion concentration has little effect on the relationship between them.
