Sensitivity of factors affecting energy consumption of residential buildings in Hefei area
To enhance the energy efficiency of residential buildings,a survey was conducted on the current energy performance of building envelopes in Hefei area.A typical residential building was selected as the research subject, and a building model was established using DeST software.Six factors were chosen for energy simulation:external wall heat transfer coefficient, roof heat transfer coefficient, external window heat transfer coefficient, solar heat gain coefficient of external window,south-facing window-to-wall ratio, and north-facing window-to-wall ratio. The study aimed to investigate the impacts of these factors on the building's thermal loads through energy simulations, followed by a sensitivity analysis based on the results.Research indicates that the sensitivity of building loads to various fac-tors is significantly different.Among them, the heat transfer coefficient of the outer wall has the highest sensitivity to the total load, followed by the north-facing window-to-wall ratio, the heat transfer coefficient of the exterior windows, the south-facing window-to-wall ratio, the roof heat transfer coefficient, and the solar heat gain coefficient of the ex-terior windows. The findings may serve as a reference for energy-efficient design of building envelopes in residential architecture.
