A review of land use change research in recent 40 years based on bibliometrics
Land use change reflects the complex interaction between climate change and human activities, and is closely related to various terrestrial processes such as biodiversity, surface energy balance, atmospheric cycle and carbon cycle.Taking the CNKI platform as the literature data source and using the CiteSpace bibliometrics software, the academic papers on land use change from 1980 to 2022 were analyzed. The results show that the number of papers published on land use change increased significantly from 2002 to 2009,and exceeded 600 papers per year in 2020 and 2021.The Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing Normal University and Nanjing University are the main research institu-tions,and well-known journals such as Soil and Water Conservation Research,Journal of Anhui Agricultural Sci-ences,and Bulletin of Soil and Water Conservation have published a large number of papers. The research focu-ses mainly include the driving force and mechanism of land use change, ecological and environmental effects,e-conomic and social impacts, spatial models and planning studies, etc. Finally, the existing problems in land use change research are discussed, and some suggestions are put forward, such as strengthening data collection and processing, researching new and effective research methods, comprehensively considering various influencing factors and strengthening the application of sustainable development concept in land use change research. The research results can provide reference for land use change and sustainable development and other related re-search.
