Preparation of N-doped carbon dots and application in Hg2+determination
Using citric acid as carbon source urea phenanthroline ammonia thiourea and arginine as nitrogen source, five kinds of nitrogen-doped fluorescent carbon dots were synthesized by hydrothermal method. The flu-orescence properties of the synthesized carbon dots were characterized, and the optimal excitation and emission wavelengths of each carbon dot were determined.Under the optimal emission wavelengths,Hg2+was detected by fluorescence quenching. The results show that the carbon dots prepared with arginine as nitrogen source have a sensitive response to Hg2+detection,and the linear range of Hg2+determination is 0.25~1.5 µmol/L.
