Exploration and practice of"3-4-5"joint graduation project teaching mode
In view of the issues prevalent in traditional engineering undergraduate thesis design teaching mod-els,a"3-4-5"joint thesis design teaching model is proposed.This model,anchored by three main bodies,namely universities,enterprises and industries,has devised four measures including diversified topic selection for design,standardized management process,shared teaching resources,and standardized design outcomes.It divides the design process into five stages:topic selection,thesis proposal presentation,mid-term assessment,joint defense,and outcome exchange.Taking the Civil Engineering major at seven institutions in Henan Prov-ince as an example,two years of exploration and practice were conducted.Empirical results demonstrate that this model effectively enhanced the quality of undergraduate thesis projects in civil Engineering,strengthened the practical components of engineering education,which can serve as a reference and inspiration for the reform of graduate thesis teaching models in related engineering disciplines.
