CiteSpace-based visual analysis of Chinese medicine for eczema
Objective:To analyze the current status, hot spots and trends of research on Chinese medicine for eczema in the past 10 years using bibliometric methods. Methods:The research literature on Chinese medicine for eczema included in the database of China Knowledge Network from January 2013 to March 2023 was selected, and the authors, research institutions, and keywords of the relevant literature were visualized and analyzed by using CiteSpace software. Results:A total of 1556 literatures were included, and 1468 were obtained after screening. In the past decade, the research has been gradually deepened, and more closely cooperated teams such as Li Ping's team,Tian Jing's team and Feng Changqing's team have been formed. The main research institutions are Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The cooperative relationship is still mainly within the provinces and cities, with less cross-regional cooperation. The keyword analysis yielded 10 keyword clusters and 20 emergent words, with"chronic eczema"being the most frequent keyword and"acute eczema"being the largest cluster(excluding eczema, eczema, dip sores and clinical efficacy, clinical observation,Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine).(excluding the terms"eczema","eczema","dip sore"and clinical efficacy,"clinical observation","Chinese medicine","traditional Chinese medicine","review",etc.).Research hotspots initially focused on evidence-based research and clinical efficacy research, gradually shifted to clinical experience and TCM external treatment method research, then meta-analysis,medication patterns and data mining gained some heat, and now network pharmacology, etiology and mechanism of action have become new research hotspots. Conclusion:The research related to the treatment of eczema by Chinese medicine is widely involved. The etiological mechanism and external treatment of eczema are the future research trends, but there are problems such as relatively concentrated research teams, not close enough cooperation, and research content concentrated on chronic eczema, etc.Cooperation should be strengthened in the future to expand the research scope of Chinese medicine for eczema.
