Retrospective analysis of clinical characteristics and prognosis of patients with hepatitis B virus infection
Objective:To retrospectively analyze the clinical features and prognostic correlation of patients with hepatitis B virus infection. Methods:A total of 152 CHB patients admitted to the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University in China from January 2022 to January 2024 were enrolled. The clinical features of the patients were reviewed and statistically analyzed with the incidence of HBV-HCC as the prognostic index.logistic regression analysis was performed on the age, sex, smoking history, alcoholism, hyperlipidemia, diabetes history,PT,INR,AST,ALT,platelets,GGT,total bilirubin,HBV DNA and creatinine of the patients in this study to analyze the risk factors of HCC incidence. Then ROC curve was used to find the best predictive stage value of GGT for HBV-HCC,and to verify the predictive ability of GGT for patients with HCC.Results:Age,sex, smoking history, alcoholism, diabetes history, hyperlipidemia,HBV DNA,PT,INR,platelet,AST,ALT,total bilirubin and creatinine(P>0.05).However,GGT(P<0.001),alcoholism(P=0.004),AST(P=0.007)and ALT(P=0.020)were significantly different between the two groups(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that GGT was a risk factor for HBV patients with HCC(P<0.05).Pearson correlation coefficient analysis showed that GGT level was positively correlated with HBV patients with HCC(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that when the optimal cut-off value of GGT level was 75 U/L,the AUC value of GGT predicting HCC in HBV patients was 0.915.Conclusion:GGT is a risk factor associated with the prognosis of HBV patients.
