Diabetes nephropathy(DN)is a serious microvascular complication of diabetes patients.If we do not take timely treatment and effective measures,it will soon develop to chronic renal failure.Therefore,for DN patients,it is necessary to intervene as soon as possible,in a timely and effective manner.The treatment of DN with Western medicine involves comprehensive treatments such as lowering blood sugar,lowering blood pressure,regulating blood lipids,and improving circulation.Patients who take it for a long time have poor compliance and many side effects,and the long-term efficacy needs further investigation.Traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in overall regulation and syndrome differentiation and treatment,and may have significant therapeutic effects in improving symptoms and improving quality of life.This article reviews the treatment of DN from three aspects:compound Chinese medicine,traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations,and oral administration of Chinese medicine monomer or extract,in order to find out the rule of internal treatment of DN with Chinese medicine,point out its advantages and disadvantages,and provide reference value for the later treatment of DN with internal administration of Chinese medicine.
