Analysis of hope level and its influencing factors in young and middle-aged stroke patients
Objective:To explore the hope level and influencing factors of middle-aged and young stroke patients.Methods:General Situation Questionnaire,Hess Expectancy Scale(HHI),Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS)and Medical Coping Style Scale(MCMQ)were used to investigate 226 young and middle-aged stroke patients in the department of neurology of a tertiary a hospital in Henan province.Results:The HHI score of middle-aged and young stroke patients was(36.03±4.20)points,the SSRS score was(39.07±7.92)points,and the MCMQ score was(46.35±6.51)points;The analysis found that the total score of social support was positively correlated with the hope level,and the yielding dimension was negatively correlated with the hope level.Multiple linear regression showed that the course of stroke,NIHSS score,social support,and the yielding dimension were the influencing factors of the hope level in middle-aged and young stroke patients.Conclusion:The hope level of middle-aged and young stroke patients is at a medium-to-high level.Effective measures should be taken to reduce the NIHSS score of patients and help them face it effectively,thereby improving the hope level of patients.
