The study of Mao Zedong's dialectical thinking on sports has always been the focus of the theoreti-cal and academic circles.In the past half century,a large number of research results has emerged on Mao Zedong's sports dialectical thinking,mainly focusing on four hot topics:namely,the analysis of the historical origins of Mao Zedong's dialectical thinking on sports,the analysis of the basic characteristics of Mao Zedong's dialectical think-ing on sports,the analysis of the dialectical thinking of the research on sports and the analysis of the contemporary value of Mao Zedong's dialectical thinking on sports.The expansion and deepening of Mao Zedong's dialectical thinking on sports in the new era can be promoted from three dimensions:strengthening"fragmented"or"individu-alized"research from the dimension of philology;further expanding the practical research of Mao Zedong's dialec-tical thinking on sports from the perspective of the historical context of the practical dimension;deepening the un-derstanding of the relation between Mao Zedong's dialectical thinking on sports and Mao Zedong's dialectical thinking from the dimension of epistemology.
