The Cultivation and Creation of"Pioneers of Party Building":A Case Study of the Early Curriculum of Hunan First Normal School
The curriculum transformation of Hunan First Normal School from the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China began the process of educational democratization.The curriculum reform promoted by the New Culture Movement,the May Fourth Movement and the democracy thought created a favorable atmosphere for the spread of progressive ideas.The curriculum pattern that promotes the comprehensive development of students and the curriculum guidance of progressive teachers have laid a solid foundation for talent cultivation for the"pio-neers of Party building".The Xinmin Society has transformed from an initial academic organization into a political organization with Marxism as its main belief,achieving the organizational creation of the"pioneers of Party build-ing".The early First Normal School nurtured"pioneers of Party building"that were not only rooted in history and influenced by the times,but also had inherent curriculum motivations.
