The College English Teacher's Role as a Wisdom Educator in the Era of Educational Transformation:Its Connotation and Implementation
Educational transformation refers to significant and profound changes in the great context,environ-ment and trends of education,and systematic changes in educational concepts,content,methods and evaluation.This urgently requests college English teachers to become a wisdom educator,that is,to clarify educational con-cepts,grasp their core roles,adhere to the"unchanging"in the constantly changing world,and guide students to be good at learning,thinking,making wise decisions,and aspiring to serve their motherland.To fully realize their roles,they need to improve their knowledge structure to be facilitators in students'knowledge acquisition,enhance their thinking abilities to become designers in students'thinking training and cultivate noble character to act as the guiding light in students'character development in accordance with the requirements of the times and discipline as well as students'characteristics in different periods.
