Revolutionary Aesthetics and Ideology in Mao Zedong's Poetry:A Case Study of the period from the Autumn Harvest Uprising to the Central Soviet District(1927-1934)
This paper aims to analyze the style of Mao Zedong's poetry in terms of form,content,aesthetics and body to explain its modern content despite of its traditional form.Mao's poetry embodies a progressive view of the times and incorporates Marxist aesthetics.On the basis of the analysis of specific works,this paper is to study how Mao infused his poetry with proletarian revolutionary ideas,constructed a sublime and positive aesthetic style,and insisted on the masses of workers and peasants as the main body.Mao's exploration of the nationalization and popu-larization of classical poetry brought classical Chinese poetry back to life and provided valuable artistic experience for the way out of classical poetry in new literature.
