Centennial Evolution and Era Reconstruction of Rural Teachers'Role
On the basis of Reviewing the evolution of rural teachers'role in the past 100 years since the found-ing of the Communist Party of China,it can be found that the role orientation of rural teachers has different empha-ses in different periods.It roughly experienced five stages:political workers(1921-1948),knowledge disseminators(1949-1977),local defenders(1978-1999),professional intellectuals(2000-2016)and new rural elites(2017-pres-ent).The role orientation of rural teachers has been constantly enriched and developed along with the national strat-egy in the process of change and nouchange in the past 100 years since the founding of the Communist Party of China.Rural teachers have always assumed the role of intellectuals,with their professional degree deepening,and their role functions have gone from single to comprehensive.In recent years,with the acceleration of urbanization,rural teachers have become"outsiders",who wander outside the rural field and between urban and rural areas.In the new era,rural teachers should be deeply integrated into the rural field,changing from rural"outsider"to rural"insider",so as to realize the reconstruction of their educational roles,social roles and cultural roles.
