Exploring the Education Process of Dance Aesthetic Education at Universities in the New Era:A Case Study of the Public Elective Course Dance Appreciation
The dance aesthetic education in the new era adheres to the people-oriented educational philosophy,emphasizing the important role of dance as a medium in cultivating students'comprehensive qualities.Dance Ap-preciation is a general education course aimed at cultivating students'aesthetic ability and cultural literacy in dance.In the teaching process,teachers carefully select dance works and integrate the concept of ideological and po-litical education into the curriculum before and after viewing,in order to achieve the educational goals of educating people,enhancing competence,and cultivating morality through dance.The implementation of aesthetic education in universities is a complex and important task that requires the joint efforts of society,schools,teachers,and stu-dents.The article takes the public elective course Dance Appreciation as an example,elaborates on how to imple-ment aesthetic education for college students from the perspective of course implementation,in order to provide useful reference and practical experience for dance appreciation courses in public art courses at universities.
