Guided by the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the teaching of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities reflects the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people.It brings a clearer direction and mission of the course,and is also more firm in the orientation of taking Marxist ideals and beliefs as the direction for colleges students'life.Ideological and political courses in col-leges and universities,as the base to spread Marxism,must be agreed with the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,and be guided by Xi Jinping thought on Socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era,aiming to solve the problems of"what kind of talents should be cultivated,how to cultivate and for whom".Based on the importance of ideological and political course teaching in colleges and universities,this paper explores the way to integrate the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress into the course,so that college students can deeply understand the spirit through class-room guidance of ideological and political course in colleges and uni-versities.
