The study of the rite classic was an important research field of Huang Kan in his later years,and was an important part of his academic thoughts.Based on Huang's related materials and we could find that Huang Kan attached great importance to the origin of research,and advocated that classics study should start from exegesis and so on.Huang also attached great importance to Zheng Xuan's annotations,and at the same time did not abandon the studies of Song Dynasties.Furthermore,he paid attention to the example of the rite classic.However,the reason of Huang's motivation for studying the rite classic was complicated,and it should be the result of the intertwined in-fluence of external environment and Liu Shipei and other factors.Huang's research on the rite classic could be re-garded as the continuation of Liu Shipei's study related.
