As the pillars of the nation,it is vitally important for college students to cultivate their ecological security awareness.This effort helps maintain the overall concept of national security,advances the modernization of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature,and strengthens the mission of the new era.Currently,college students face several issues,such as a lack of theoretical knowledge about ecology,weak ecological security awareness,and inappropriate behaviors concerning ecological civilization.Colleges,as crucial venues for fostering ecological security awareness,should integrate this cultivation into their ideological and political education and professional education.Colleges should innovate the content and methods of ecological security awareness training,which can enhance students'awareness of ecological safety and strive to achieve harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.
