Public security authorities,as the main authority to regulate Internet public opinion,need to respond to Internet public opinion incidents with caution to prevent excessive handling and rigid treatment,which will harm citizens'rights to freedom of expression and information,and how to standardize the regulation of Internet public opinion is a problem that needs to be solved urgently at the present time.Administrative guidance has the unique value and advantage of conforming to the trend of government reform,enriching the means of law enforcement,and protecting the rights and interests of citizens,but in the work of public security public opinion regulation,there are still problems such as insufficient understanding and insufficient standardization level.Therefore,it is of great significance to promote the innovation of law enforcement methods in public security public opinion regulation and the standardized application of administrative guidance in the work of public security authorities in Internet public opinion regulation,in order to create a law enforcement atmosphere of flexible regulation,and to guarantee the harmony and stability of the online social order,as well as to protect the citizens'freedom of speech and the right to information from being violated.
