The ideological and political construction in the curriculum plays a crucial role in"criminology"teaching.It is a concrete practice to implement the fundamental task of moral education,and an important link as well in which the professional knowledge and ideological education are integrated with each other.It is also a main content to cultivate public security professionals.At present,although some achievements have been made in the"criminology"ideological and political education and personnel training in public security colleges and universities,much attention should be paid to the integration mode of curriculum ideological and political education and personnel training based on the"criminology"case teaching,and it still lacks the accumulation of typical materials for transforming ideological and political theoretical knowledge into practice,leading to an imbalance in the resources of education concept and teaching design in ideological and political teaching.Therefore,it is vital to strengthen the structure of ideological and political education system from the concept,and to deeply explore the ideological and political elements,combining the mission of public security with the great practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.It is essential to optimize teaching design,focusing on cultivating students'patriotism and socialist core values as well.We should also attach great importance to serving actual situation and building a comprehensive chain of ideological and political education for public security personnels combining theoretical teaching,case teaching,practical training,and educational cultivation together,so that students can learn in order to practice and can improve themselves in practical training comprehensively,so as to foster high-quality public security talents.
